We welcome you on the website of the New Zealand Institute of Physics. The New Zealand Institute of Physics is the institute for professional physicists. Our members include: college teachers, university lecturers, students studying to be physicists, CRI scientists, industry scientists, etc.

We provide:

2017 NZIP Conference

We are delighted to announce that the next biennial NZIP Conference will be held in Dunedin10-12 July, 2017.

The programme will appear in few days, but until then one of our keynote speakers, Dianna Cowern (Physics Girl), will invite you to join us at the conference.

You can still register and attend the conference. We prepare an interesting and entertaining programme, so please join us!

The conference brings together members of the New Zealand physics research and teaching communities and provides an excellent forum for discussing physics education and physics research, and offers ample opportunities for networking. There will be a range of invited speakers with outstanding communication skills.
