contribution to this issue is later than I’d like. However, at the end of
this email is an excerpt from the option choice booklet that is circulated

achievement standards for both Maths and Science at level one and looked at the
skills I thought the candidates would need. As you can see I have not included
things like circle geometry, statistics or Biological Systems but I have
included those standards that assessed those skills I thought the candidates
would need – like measurement, practical science investigations,
algebraic manipulation and the like<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
